Our 2021 Summer Seminar Faculty are current and former members of Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra, Piedmont Symphony Orchestra, US Navy Band, New World Symphony, Sphinx Symphony, American Studio Orchestra, Lyric Brass Quintet, Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass, and are current or former faculty members at Washington Adventist University, Peabody Conservatory, Florida International University, and Folly Quarter Middle School.

SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
WARM UP & FUNDAMENTALS
Each day starts off with a warm up session led by our faculty. Participants will warm up alongside them while discussing warm up routines and fundamentals.
DAILY MASTERCLASS
From playing techniques to audition preparation and repertoire coaching, our faculty masterclasses will focus on all aspects of horn playing: performance, artistry, mental focus, and other topics.
ENSEMBLE REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCE
Festival Brass Ensemble/Quintet, Trumpet Ensemble, Horn, Ensemble, Low Brass Ensemble
FACULTY PERFORMANCE
Join the Lyric Brass QUintet and Friends for an enjoyable chamber music performance!
WORKSHOPS & BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Each day, our faculty will lead group conversations on a variety of topics, including: Mental Focus, Auditions, Careers, Marketing, Communication Skills, and more. Small groups will be formed and coached by our faculty to find creative and fun solutions to challenges, and then present their solutions to the rest of the attendees.
PRIVATE LESSONS
All participants will receive 3 (45 minute) private lessons.
